Nugget ice is the very popular chewable ice favored by hospitals, movie theatres and similar operations.  The soft texture makes this nugget ice easy to chew but hard enough to be dispensed without hand-scooping.  It cools liquid rapidly and has an 83% ice to water ratio maximizing your drink profits.  The Manitowoc RN-1000 series produces approx 1118 lbs of nugget ice per day.
